I'm a secondary school teacher in Scotland, covering Computing Science, Modern Studies, and Geography. Alongside teaching I work as a Pupil Support Leader — making sure the right people get the right support at the right time.

yifty started because I got tired of the way cover was managed. The last-minute messages, the spreadsheets, the back-and-forth chasing — none of it needed to be that hard. I built yifty for schools like mine, where the day moves fast and cover decisions can't wait.

I hold an MA in Sustainable Development with Sociology, a PGDE in Secondary Education, and an MSc in Computing. I use all three more than you'd expect.
